BendPro interfaces
to Measuring Machines
Current Tech has
introduced a new software feature for the BendPro CNC
tube bender control that
allows for direct network communications with measuring machines. The
feature allows the control to accept corrected bend data from measuring
machines that are supravision compatible such as those
made by Multi Systems, Romer
and Addison.
Measuring machines can now measure a bent tube and send the corrected data
directly to the BendPro control, thus automating the corrections loop. This
process improves on accuracy and increases production for the tube
fabricator. In addition, master shape geometry and bending machine setup
data can also be transferred bi-directionally between measuring machines
and the BendPro CNC control, creating 'off line' programming and remote
part data storage capabilities. Based on the Microsoft Windows
XP professional operating system, the BendPro
CNC control's inherit networking capabilities allow for effortless and
efficient communications with office networks, measuring machines, and the
internet.
