BendPro CMM Software logo

Measuring Machine Interface

The BendPro CMM software links tube bending machines with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs). With BendPro CMM, measuring machines can measure a bent tube and send corrected bend data directly to the bender, automating the corrections loop. This process improves accuracy, eliminates data entry mistakes, and increases production for the tube fabricator.

In addition, master shape geometry and bending machine setup data can also be transferred bidirectionally between measuring machines and tube bender controls, allowing offline programming and remote part data storage capabilities.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

In what cases do I need this software?

If you are using any version of BendPro prior to G2 Version 2, and you need to interface to an Eaton Leonard Vector CMM, you will need this software.
You will not need this software with BendPro G2 Version 2 because this functionality is built in.

Does this software support the Eaton Leonard Current Loop system?

Yes. We also can supply a Current Loop card for the bender control if required.

What if my bender doesn't have a BendPro, can I still use this software to link the bender to an EL Vector CMM?

Yes. As long as your bender control supports the Supravision Network protocol, then the BendPro CMM software can link it to an Eaton Leonard Vector CMM.
You may need to also procure a Current Loop card for your bender control. Please contact our sales department for more information.
